ABOUT HELEN

I like working with the horse/dog in an holistic way using a variety of massage techniques to improve soft tissue, joint function & an overall wellbeing both physically & mentally. Techniques used are:

Merishia Massage

Myofascial Release

Craniosacral Therapy

Muscle Energy Techniques

Passive and Active Stretches.

Red light therapy.

Reiki

I also work on continuous professional development courses which adds to my skill base, studying in Masterson Method, Red light Therapy, Essential oil Therapy, Rehab Exercises.

I am a member of the Association of Merishia Therapists along with IAAT International Association of Animal Therapists both of which guarantee a high standard of care.

Massage & Soft Tissue Therapies are very effective in helping prevent injury, rehabilitation after injury and help improve performance.

This means that a regular maintenance/remedial massage is a great addition in your horse’s ongoing care.

Equine massage can help eliminate stiffness, tension & pain in the muscles and connective tissues.

It can also help to relax your horse physically and mentally, giving them the chance to excel in any discipline, so whether you and your horse like hacking, competing or a quieter non ridden life massage can benefit at any age, breed, or level of work.
